Porta Kleen’s new Flex Plus Locker Room Trailer is redefining what mobile facilities can provide by combining comfort, practicality, and versatility in one package. Developed in response to customer feedback, the Flex Plus delivers private restrooms, showers, laundry, and Smart TVs in a climate-controlled space that is equally suited for rugged jobsites or large-scale events.
Each trailer features a mirror-image layout that can operate as separate male and female sections or as a single, combined space. “The idea came from customer feedback asking for something more versatile,” Engineering Manager Corey Gossard said. “Instead of needing two separate trailers, this design can serve both groups in one unit.”
The advanced trailer features 48 lockers, four private showers, four restroom stalls, and two three-station sink areas. Both sides include a stacked washer and dryer, a Smart TV for device connectivity, and a seating bench with cubby storage. With an 800-gallon freshwater tank, a 1,000-gallon black-water tank, and a propane-fired water heater, the trailer can function for several days on-site while providing an endless supply of hot water.
Those features create a welcome change for workers. “You can shower, wash your clothes, grab a coffee, and even review plans on the TV before heading back to work,” said Mechanical Systems Engineer Brian Marcum, adding that convenience and efficiency makes the Flex Plus a valuable addition to any project.
Building each unit is a collaborative process that blends prefabrication with skilled finishing. The final work takes place at Porta Kleen’s Cody, Wyoming facility, where the Cody team installs heat-traced tanks and lines, fiber-grade flooring, and the integrated laundry and entertainment systems.
The craftsmanship ensures every trailer meets the high standards expected in the field. Marcum said the Cody team “takes good care of their shop and the work shows in the finished product.”
The Flex Plus is already in use on construction projects and even a college football stadium, demonstrating its adaptability. Demand continues to grow, and units rarely sit idle. “They’re always rented out,” Gossard said. “Every time we finish one, there’s another order waiting.”
The Flex Plus Locker Room Trailer is more than a mobile locker room. It is a complete hub that supports customers by providing the comfort and amenities they need to stay productive and focused on the job.
